Therapy for Anxiety

Feeling anxious may mean you have moments where your thoughts are racing and you feel overwhelmed. It could show up as difficulty falling asleep or an inability to stop worrying or feeling stressed. After the past 2 years of living in a pandemic, these feelings may be noticeably stronger.

 

Therapy can help you decrease the intensity of those moments by providing you with skills that you can use to tackle future moments of anxiety. It can also help you gain insight and healing into where the anxiety stems from so you can live free of the burdens of anxiety.

Trauma Therapy

Depending on where you are in your healing journey, you may or may not be aware of how past moments in your life are impacting you in the present. You may have outbursts or emotional breakdowns that are connected to your past (whether you can pinpoint those past moments or not).


By using EMDR Therapy, you can break free from the past and regain control of your life. You will begin to feel confident knowing you are not as stuck or affected by what happened to you in the past. 

I often tell my clients that we will work on reaching into the past, present and future. Each helps the other and through EMDR, I can help you live the future you envision for yourself.
